Calgary native and Toronto based Ica. fuses together authentic lyrics, "stuck in your head" acoustic pop melodies, and powerhouse vocals to create folk pop bliss reminiscent of artists such as Mt.Joy, Julia Michaels, and Sasha Sloan. Her non-filtered and no strings attached approach to songwriting and performance aim to air out the sometimes hard and growth provoking truth of life’s experiences.  Like a caterpillar finding its wings as a butterfly, Ica. has learnt growth, change, and discomfort come hand in hand. Using her emotionally raw vocals and the rich tones of her guitar, Ica. is excited to share the lessons she has learnt with young and old listeners alike in hopes of providing comfort and community to those who need it.  Although a seemingly new artist, Ica. has over 3 years of performance experience with various other projects in the Calgary music community. From being one half of a duo, to performing solo, to her studies at Humber College in Toronto, Ica. is ready to focus her attention on her own signature sound. Where her journey will take her, only time will tell, but if there’s one thing Ica. knows, it’s she’s ready to fully introduce the world to her authentic and unique sound. Currently, Ica. is deeply entrenching herself in the craft of music composition and vocal studies; and is working to create new music and get involved in the Toronto music community.
