About
Calgary-based artist and family man, creating prairie-infused Americana and alt-country music for lovers of fine songcraft.
After emerging in late 2022 following a years-long break from music, Alberta-based artist Jason Andrew Griffith has been hard at work in the Calgary scene, writing and performing a unique blend of prairie-grown roots-Americana and alt-country music that evokes the likes of Jason Isbell, Ryan Adams, and Corb Lund.
In 2024 he released his first EP "Voice of Marie", which has been played on campus and community radio stations across Canada. In 2025, he followed up with the release of the lo-fi "Bootlegged Live in Calgary" full length album, and will be releasing a new single in October in collaboration with Calgary artist Melyssa Lee.
Playing shows in venues ranging from the King Eddy to Heritage Park to the Calgary Stampede, his engaging and authentic performances get audiences dancing along or tearing up with feel-good storyteller songs that touch on family, nostalgia, and love.
