I’ve been a musician for many years, exploring many genres from rock to pop to classical to jazz to current trends. I was raised in England in the 70s and was exposed to many musical genres, such as prog rock, disco, heavy metal, futurism, new romantics, punk, ska et al. I tended to gravitate to artists who experimented with unconventional sounds to create something new. Artists like Yes, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Peter Gabriel and Billie Ellish. I also like to experiment when I compose, which is what I endeavoured to do on my last album. Hopefully, it makes sense. To some, it will. To others, it may sound like it’s all over the place! As always, the listener decides.
