Dana Nell is a singer songwriter and visual artist who uses creative expression as a therapeutic tool. Through processing their own experiences and emotions, she hopes that her music can act as a vehicle for healing, both for herself and others. Dana’s songwriting is deeply personal; a compilation of poetry, journal entries and stream of consciousness improvisation. Through their art and music she attempts to explore complicated feelings with nuance, curiosity, and without judgement. Dana is heavily influenced by jazz and folk traditions. She approaches performing with a stripped back setup, herself and her guitar. She wishes to use music as a way to connect with others.
