Gabriel Zacharias, born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil and based out of Calgary is an artist who embodies the addictive rhythms and sophisticated harmonies of traditional Brazilian music, with a focus on Bossa Nova and Samba. Deeply influenced by the work of artists such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Milton Nascimento and Chico Buarque, he is also passionate about genres such as jazz, choro, frevo and classical guitar.
