S.K. Wellington's music sits in the "perfect pocket of indie, folk, pop, and rock". S.K has been nominated for folk artist of the year 3x in the YYC Music Awards. Her performances are engaging and energizing. She can be found playing solo, as a three to seven piece outfit. Wellington wrote for and played with local indie/folk/rock band The Wellington Folk from 2010-2018. The band made CBC Searchlight's Regional Top Ten three years in a row with S.K's songs. She also makes up one half of active indie/folk duo Lighter Than Arrows. S.K. has recorded and released 6 studio albums and many singles over the past 9 years with her projects. She strives to produce songs that are diverse, compelling, and that both resonate with and challenge, people’s experiences.
