Jasmyn Wright is a passionate, multi-faceted artist, from Millet, Alberta. Born in Camrose, later raised out on her grandparents farm by Holden- where she got her love for "good old country music". Her mother gifted her, her first guitar at 15 and taught herself what she knows, which lead into writing her own songs and she now is playing lots of gigs with her band, "The Wright Laws". Jasmyn met her band mates Dale and Todd at Leanne's Bar and Grill where she truly got her confidence over the microphone hosting the open jams! This past year she met her lead guitar player, Van Duff playing a gig at Stettler Brewing. Together her and her band bring lively energy and character to any stage and are having fun getting "out there". Jasmyn has survived cancer twice and has been a caretaker to her mother, so she has a major interest in living a holistic, healthy, balanced lifestyle. She has found so much joy in playing music and sharing her story with others, in hopes to inspire people to follow their dreams and use their creative outlets to help get through tough times.
