Tean Dream (musical moniker for piano player and vocalist Tina Powell) mixes 70s pop-rock song-writing foundations with modern indie pop influences to create something uniquely adjacent to the two. With jazz-inspired chording, quirky production, analogue equipment, and lyrical themes of freedom, nostalgia, and finding self, Tean Dream's debut release envelops like a warm hug, transporting us to somewhere a little bit lighter. Her songs invite reflection, hopefulness and, a renewed faith in the good in the world. Tina has been performing for years in the London-area and also plays keyboard with popular London-based band Sunshine Makers. She released her debut solo album under the name Tean Dream in May 2025, via LOVETOWN RECORDS, earning CBC radio play and international radio play, top 10 spots on Canadian campus radio charts, and an artist showcase at Folk Canada.
