About
Promoting new LP, looking to book shows in Canadian maritimes through 2026
Longtime indie folk-pop singer-songwriter, and emerging recording artist Michelle Calder, from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia combines her gentle folk-princess vocals with her nature/adventure-themed lyrics and plucky riffs, aiming to entice even the indoorsiest of folks to seek out the wildling within. With songs landing as high as #1 on indie charts in the Canadian maritimes and features in international blogs, podcasts and in American magazine Indiefferential, and receiving two 2025 ISSA nominee finalist spots, Michelle has quickly made a name for herself since her first release in July 2023, celebrating her most recent release, The “Wildling” LP, (Out Sept 2025) by playing a 25-day cross-Canada tour in Fall 2025

Flexible. Based in Lower Sackville, NS, but has a camper and loves to travel. Holidays 2025 into winter and spring 2026 I'm looking to book multi act shows throughout Nova Scotia, (house concerts, cafe's, smaller venues), where I'll be including a variety of other performers on the bills with an average of 2-5 acts per bill. Touring Newfoundland in early May 2026, and Cape Breton in mid May 2026, then looking to do festivals and continue doing the multi-act shows throughout the Canadian maritimes in Summer 2026, and tour elsewhere in Canada in Fall 2026.
