Jim has been making a racket in bars all over Western Canada since he was nineteen and has been based out of Calgary for the last thirty five years. His musical journey has led him to explore many styles, ranging from classic rock to traditional country to blues, R&B and forays into jazz standards. The last few years have seen him exploring acoustic horizons with the same eclecticism, releasing an album, and continuing to mentor students in music.
