Keegan MC has been performing professionally since the age of 13. Originally a Cape Breton/Celtic fiddle player, he is now a multi-instrumentalist in a variety of genres that range from jazz, funk, and country to more traditional genres like Irish, old-time, and bluegrass. His creative style of playing draws on two decades of varied performance experience as well as a Certificate in Jazz Performance from Humber College (Toronto), and a Doctorate in Ethnomusicology (University of Toronto).
