Varnia Nicole Henry was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and is of Trinidadian Heritage. She mixes her Caribbean background,with her love of Latin music with her soulful style on contemporary jazz standards. Varnia is a 2018 YYC Music Awards Nominee in two categories for her jazz album, Love Legacies: Female Artist of the Year and The Zachariah Prophets Memorial Award for her debut jazz album, “Love Legacies.” Ultimately, Varnia loves to bring people together and help others through music.
